GymStudio – Data Deletion Policy
This Data Deletion Policy explains how users of the GymStudio Mobile Application can request deletion of their personal data associated with the application. This page is provided to comply with the requirements of the Google Play Store Data Safety and User Data policies.
1. Account Creation Policy
GymStudio does not allow public users to create accounts directly through the mobile application. All member accounts are created manually by authorized gym staff, gym managers, or gym owners using the GymStudio administrative system.
Before creating an account, the gym management verifies the member’s identity and membership manually. After verification, the gym staff provides the member with login credentials such as:
- Member Login ID
- Password
- Membership details
Members only use these credentials to log in to the GymStudio mobile application to access their gym membership information.
2. Data Collected and Managed
All member data within the GymStudio system is entered and managed by gym staff or gym management. Members do not directly submit or upload personal information through the mobile application.
The information maintained in the system may include:
- Member name
- Contact number
- Membership ID
- Membership plan and expiry date
- Gym attendance records
- Basic profile information
3. Requesting Data Deletion
If a gym member wishes to delete their account or remove their personal data from the GymStudio system, they must contact the gym where their membership is registered.
Since accounts are created and controlled by the gym management, only the gym staff or owner has the authority to delete the member's data from the system.
Members can request deletion by:
- Visiting the gym in person
- Contacting the gym staff directly
- Requesting account removal through the gym management
4. Data Deletion Process
Upon receiving a valid deletion request from a member, the gym management will:
- Verify the member’s identity
- Locate the member’s record in the GymStudio system
- Delete or deactivate the member’s account
- Remove associated personal data from the system where applicable
The deletion process may take a reasonable amount of time depending on the gym's internal procedures.
5. Data Retention
Certain data may be retained for a limited period if required for:
- Legal compliance
- Accounting or membership records
- Dispute resolution
- Internal gym management purposes
Once the retention period expires, the data will be permanently deleted from the system.
